DAESAN · MANUAL TRAVEL TROLLEYS
DP plain & DG geared trolleys.
Specify travel, beam fit and hoist connection as one requirement. Explore the primary DP/DG range, compare reference data and request a quotation.

- DG geared travel
- 1–40 t
- Supply status
- To order
All configurations, special widths, fitments and delivery are subject to quotation.

Start with the way you need to travel.
DP uses manual push travel. DG uses a hand chain to control trolley movement. Your load, route, operator position and complete lifting arrangement determine what needs review.
A trolley is part of a system.
Rated capacity alone does not confirm suitability. Include the hoist mass, suspension details, beam profile and thickness, available clearance, curves, joints and travel requirements.
For an unidentified beam or an existing installation, leave unknown details blank and ask for technical assistance.

15 capacity entries match.
Catalogue widths are reference values. Manufacturer manual ranges differ. Matching configured drawings and manufacturer confirmation control; the selector does not approve a beam fit.

Unknown details can be left blank. Enter dimensions in the units shown.

Use the practical worksheet to record observations. This enquiry does not certify inspection or return to service.
SIDE-BY-SIDE REFERENCE
Compare plain and geared travel.
Select up to three entries from the list. EX options stay in a separate comparison context.

DG operating reach is not hoist lift. C, D and H dimensions change with beam width; use the manufacturer drawing with the confirmed assembly.
SEPARATE APPLICATION REVIEW
EXDP & EXDG options.
Explore manufacturer-listed spark-resistant trolley options at 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 t for each family. Confirm the exact manufacturer code, assembly, materials, environment and supporting evidence before specifying.
No SABS, CE, ATEX, IECEx or whole-range conformity claim is made. A product-family name does not establish hazardous-area suitability.

DOCUMENTS & PRACTICAL WORKSHEETS
Keep the specification with the equipment.

Use the enquiry form above for beam, route, hoist and condition details. Printable worksheets support information gathering; they are not test certificates, bookings or return-to-service authority. No document uploads are requested.
Read the standards and evidence boundaries
Follow the applicable legal regime, current licensed standards and matching manufacturer instructions. The guide separates trolley product requirements from in-use hoist inspection references. It does not assert that a proposed standards amendment has been issued, or claim conformity for any trolley.
Catalogue and manual beam ranges and retention references differ. Obtain the exact configured drawing and manufacturer clarification at quotation. No universal assembly, proof-load or inspection interval is prescribed by this selector.

Trolley selection questions
Does the selector confirm beam fit?
No. Catalogue values support an initial enquiry. Beam profile, thickness, washer arrangement, retention, hoist connection and the exact manufacturer drawing require confirmation.
Is DG operating-chain reach the same as hoist lift?
No. Trolley operating reach relates to the operator position. Specify hoist lift separately when requesting the suspended hoist.
Can I request a special width or unknown configuration?
Yes. Leave unknown measurements blank, describe the requirement and request selection assistance. Special widths and fitments are assessed at quotation.
Can I use standard DP/DG dimensions for EX products?
No. EXDP and EXDG are separate application enquiries requiring their own manufacturer specification and evidence.
